Innovative Field to Market Washer

Indiana farmer Kevin Cooley designed and built a low-tech washer that successfully rinses produce, reduces labor needs and water use, and increases farm productivity and profitability. Cooley found that when using this machine, less time was necessary to wash produce and that other tasks could be completed simultaneously. The washer design plans were carefully sketched out by Cooley after several prototypes and trials altered the design plans.
